How long will it last?

How long will it last?

If we believe the explanation above, then many of the resources won’t last much longer. Resource like copper will be gone in about 60 years. So my friends start recycling the stuff, to enjoy better future.

Wonderful Way To Enhance Your Life

The “Ririan” from Romania, is putting his time to create a new life, which will “represent the maximum achievement and inner space” He write all about the ways to improve life at riranproject.com.

He have written a wonderful article describing the 20 ways to overcome the worries in our life. He start with a famous quote from Willston Churchill.

“When I look back on all these worries, I remember the story of the old man who said on his deathbed that he had had a lot of trouble in his life, most of which had never happened.”

The point, that was most notable for me was, 11th one, saying “Not to work till late hours”. I have been constantly working till late mid night just to have work done more perfectly.

Riran also writes about a way to cheat the death and grow younger with the 44 tips given by him. He again make a good use of quote, starting the article by motivating the older people saying….

“Biologists estimate that the human body has the potential to last 120 years, and how you live determines 75 percent of how far you go.”

Also don’t forget to read his 207 points  list to make the year 2007 the most wonderful year of your life.

Happy Holi – Can Indian festival be at the digg’s front page

In My Activities on March 4, 2007 by Sandeep Jain

Hey! Friends, Happy Holi to all of you. Holi – the festival of colors and more colors and more colors. It’s all about making life colorful.

This post is really a check to, whether the Indian festival “Holi” can be at the front page, my near assumption is “No“. But lets have a look, that how much importance are the Indian festivals given at foreign sites.

Also, to add to this festival here is a little poem from HoliFestival.org

I am dreaming of playing with colors and gulal,
It is the Holi celebration after all.
I can’t play inside my home, the carpets will get tainted,
I cant’ play it in the yard, the grass and outer walls will get painted.
I thought I would go to the temple,
and enjoy the traditional Holi festivities,
Once again I am banned from playing with colors inside the temple,
I can’t play the drums and sing “Holi hai” outside, as the neighbors don’t like the noise.
Little disappointed, I head for the community centre,
they have the Holi celebration in the evening,
The kids perform and remind me of my cultural heritage,
I hear all the nice Holi songs and watch dances,
I enjoy Puas(sweets) and Goat meat curry as a special Holi treat,
but I still miss the colors and Gulal on my face.

As a kid, the full moon night before the Holi,
we had a big bonfire in the middle of little Indian City,
Next morning we will get up, make buckets of colored water,
No one in the neighborhood will be spared from colors,
When we ran out of the colors, mud, paint and coal tar,
would cover our faces in the cheerful spirit of Holi festival.

There was some special meaning playing Holi with girls,
this is the only day when we can get close to them with some hesitation,
the wet colors dignified their bodies,
the dry colors showed their beauty in multi colors.

After our morning session, we came home to the big feast,
All the puas, puris, pulav, meat and vegetable curries made our mouth water.
In the evenings, we wore our new kurta and pajamas,
went door to door, played gulal with young and old,
everyone offered their best sweet treats,
That was the real Holi, now it is only in my dreams.
